In St. Petersburg, parts stores usually open early and close late seven days a week, while salvage yards keep shorter hours and may charge a small entry fee. Across Florida, dealer service is the safest route for recall work and warranty repairs, which are free, and for software-heavy jobs on newer cars. Fuel prices change daily and vary block by block, so the listing's location and hours matter more than the brand. For rentals, reserve ahead on weekends and check what insurance the agency requires.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–5 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (727) 321-6221. With 3.5 out of 5 on Google from 20 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for auto parts stores in St. Petersburg. Recent reviews are the best guide.

St. Petersburg is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and St. Petersburg follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I had a really bad experience here. I brought my Mercedes in for service and when I picked the car up everything seemed fine at first. But two days later while driving on the interstate, my car started shaking badly and I had to pull over. When I checked the wheel, I realized there were only TWO lug nuts holding the wheel on. My rim and tire were literally about to come off while I was driving on the highway. That could have caused a serious accident or even killed someone. To make things even worse, none of the holes were stripped. I ended up having to take three lug nuts off my other wheels just to put them on that wheel so I could safely drive the car. That means there was absolutely no reason for the car to be sent out with only two lug nuts installed. This is basic safety and shows a serious lack of attention to detail. If I hadn’t caught it when I did, the wheel could have come off at highway speed. I would definitely think twice before trusting this shop with your vehicle.

Do not take your car to this place. The owner is very rude and overcharges for parts. I was charged over $900 for a repair. Before the work was done, I offered to provide the part myself that I had ordered online, but he refused to install it, saying it was a cheap aftermarket part and that he would not be responsible for it. Later, I found out that he installed the same type of cheap aftermarket part on my car anyway. Very dishonest and misleading. I would not recommend this shop.

I wanted to take a moment to share my positive experiences with Allums Auto Shop, where I’ve been a loyal customer for over six years. During this time, I’ve entrusted them with multiple vehicles, including my Jetta, Maserati, and Mercedes, and I have always been thoroughly satisfied with their service. From my experience, Allums has consistently delivered top-quality work at fair and reasonable prices. Not once have I had to return my car after a service, as they always get it right the first time. It’s rare to find such honest and reliable service these days, especially with the concerns many people have about auto shops taking advantage of customers, particularly women. In addition to my own positive experiences, I’ve referred three family members and two friends to Allums, and all of them have been equally happy with the service they received. Their professionalism and integrity have earned my trust, and I continue to rely on them for all my automotive needs. I’m not sure where some of the negative reviews are coming from, but based on my personal experience, I have never encountered any dishonesty or unfair practices from Allums. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to

Brought in my car in to have the hybrid ac compressor replaced. I was told the compressor part had been ordered. When I picked up my car they had refilled the ac, ordered the wrong part, told me there was a leak in the system (even though they did not visually locate one) they refilled the ac system anyways, doesn't make sense. Was charged 214$ for a "diagnosis". Week later my ac compressor has gone completely out. Thanks Bruce

Where do I put zero stars?... I personally delivered a wiring harness for my son's mercedes for my mechanic 9 months ago and they lost the part, tried to give us a similar but wrong part, and finally admitted to my mechanic they lost it. After many months of calling by me my wife, and the mechanic Mike @ Mike's Automotive they refuse to do anything so we are going to claim the part was lost by Allums and their insurance can go through the roof. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE FOR ANY THING WHATSOEVER! If insurance route fails then we have all signed sworn affidavits concerning the time line for a lawsuit. Again they can not be trusted in any way.
